The hotel takes environmental responsibility seriously: uses geo- and solar energy, smart management, recycling, composting and avoids single-use plastic. They also focus on ethical suppliers, animal welfare and accessibility. Cahkal is working towards Green Key certification by the end of 2024, and further towards Sustainable Travel Finland certification.
