Svensby Tursenter Cabins

Cabins | Svensby Tursenter is approx. 1 hour (incl. ferry) from Tromsø, in Svensby just next to the ferrypier. We offer family friendly cabins and the possibility of a range of activities, from snowmobile safaris in the winter to boat rental in the summer. As well as renting a cabin, we offer caravan/camper sites. Power connections are available via the 16A power outlets.
Guests may use the service building, which includes toilest and kitchen.

22 km from Lyngseidet (Lyngen) and close to the Ullsfjord ferry (Svensby - Breivikeidet) is Svensby Tursenter. We have 5 cabins for rent, a campingground and a bar. From our area several activities take place during the year. Wintertime you can f.ex join a snowmobile safari or a dogsled safari. During summer we have boats you can rent to go out on the fjord and try your fishing luck. Next to the pier you will find a gutting house with freezers. The area is suited for hiking and biking as well.
We have 3 bigger cabins with room for 5 persons and 2 smaller cabins for 3 persons. All our cabins have a well equipped kitchen, living room and bathroom/toilet. You can also rent bedlinen from us.
Furthermore we have a campinground, with electricity and space for tents, a sauna and a bar. The bar is not open every day.
Svensby Tursenter is only 500 m from the ferrypier in Svensby. About 400m towards Lyngseidet, you will find Lyngen Kulturkafe, where you can get norwegian-german cuisine.
Lyngseidet, a bigger village, is 22 km away. Here you will find a supermarket, petrolstation, post office, several shops and a touristinformation.
