Spennende hundesledeekskursjon blant fjell og daler.

You will get instructions on how to drive a dog sledding team. You will be driving in pairs, one driver and one passenger on each sled, with opportunity to switch places half way. The trails you follow have a total distance of approximately 15 km. At the end of your trail you will return to Camp Tamok. There you will be served a hot meal in a lavvu (Sami herdsmen’s tent).

Pick-up by bus or minibus is in the city centre of Tromso, by the Scandic Ishavshotel by the harbour. Transfertime is 75-minutes to Camp Tamok: the starting and ending point for your excursion.

Season: November 15th - March 31st
Availability: Every daytime and evening, minimum 2 people
Departure: 09:00 outside The Scandic Ishavshotel by the harbour, Tromso town centre. Return: 16:00
Duration: 4.5 hours + transportation 75 min one way (total 7 hours)
Price per person: NOK 1850 (children 4 - 15 years: 50% discount)

A hot meal; vegetarian food will be provided if advance notice is given.
Insulated body suit, boots, gloves, headwear, and head lamp (evening trips)
English-speaking guide
Evening trips will give you a chance to see the Northern Lights.

Warm undergarments (wool or fleece is recommended)
Please note that the dog sledding activity is somewhat physically demanding.

Avstand: 26,2 km
Ved inngangen til Steindalen, "Porten til Lyngsalpene" ligger IMA tursenter. Her kan du leie hytte eller lavo til overnatting. Hyttene har plass til 6 personer og like i nærheten har du et flott turområde opp til Steindalsbreen.
