Experience wilderness, storytelling and local food around the campfire while waiting for the Northern Lights at Ovi Raishiin/Visitor Point Reisadalen, the gateway to Reisa National Park.
While waiting for the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) to show up, you can warm yourself around the campfire or by the stove inside our facilities at the Visitor Center.
Listen to stories based on local history and culture as we serve you a delicious dinner made from local ingredients. Our traditional menu is based on local ingredients such as salmon, reindeer, elk and cloudberries.
Experience the natural surroundings as they appeared to our forefathers – before artificial light, flush toilets and sealed roads.
Listen to folk songs and tales about the landscape, the people who lived here before us, local myths and legends.
Warm clothes and shoes suitable for snow are required. It is warm inside, but outside it can get quite chilly while waiting for the Northern Lights.

- Transport from Sørkjosen, pick up at 18:00 (6pm), back in Sørkjosen at midnight.

Excellent, but simple standard.
Good toilet facilities.
No running water or electricity.
Outdoor clothing and stout shoes are required.
