Unique places to stay | Spend a night in our lavvo, sleeping in comfortable beds. The lavvo is a traditional sami lavvo and the heating comes from a wooden stove. Located on the peninsula of Spåkenes in the northern part of the Lyngenfjord.
The lavvo is located at Artic Lyngen Sjøcamp, and you have access to all their facilities during your stay. In the lavvo you will find two beds, ready made for your visit. After a good nights sleep you will be served a breakfastplate - a good start of the day.
At the Artic Lyngen Sjøcamp you can use the lounge area at the cafeteria, were you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while enjoying the views of the fjord.
Private toilet and shower is located just 10 meters away from the lavvo.

Artic Lyngen Sjøcamp is located in Djupvik, a small place in the north-eastern part of the Lyngenfjord. A small grocery store is located 3km south of the camp near a church and a harbour where you will see boats coming and going regularly. Djupvik is 20 km north of the ferry pier in Olderdalen. Djupvik is a 200 km drive from Tromsø, but this is reduced to 110km by taking ferry crossings over the Lyngenfjord and Ullsfjord. The settlement of Storslett is situated 29 km north of Djupvik. This is the administrative centre of Nordreisa, and features several shops. From here, it is approx. 50 km to the nearest Hurtigruten port in Skjervøy.
